Support Guide


We can add new users to both our Internal GitHub and Public GitHub services.
  • For creating GitHub users on our Internal GitHub, please provide the person's name and an email address they will use.
  • For inviting GitHub users to our Public GitHub organisation, please provide the person's name, GitHub username and an email address.
    We cannot create users on Public GitHub, make sure the user has an account before submitting a request for an invitation.

When we give AWS access, we'll need an email address and any accounts the user will need access to (found here), as well as a role they should be given.
Available roles include: developer and AdministratorAccess.

If a more granular permission-set is required, please leave additional comments in your support request.

When providing Datadog access, we'll require an email address, which environment the user needs access to (Sandbox/Production) and the level of access (Read-Only, Standard or Admin).

A read only role will be provided by default if none is specified.

Troubleshooting


Check the following before opening a ticket:
  1. If you're unable to switch roles, double check you have MFA enabled on your account. MFA is a user requirement - if it is disabled you will not be able to switch roles.
  2. If you have enabled MFA during your current session, log out of AWS and back in again using your MFA code.
  3. Check you have spelled the account alias/role correctly, you can find the list of accounts below. Available roles are developer and AdministratorAccess.
If you are still having issues, please open a support request.
If you're having issues logging in:

Make sure you're using the correct login link, it should look like this: https://im-mgmt.signin.aws.amazon.com/console. If the link already looks like this and it still says your credentials are incorrect, open a support request and we will look into resetting your password.
